Original Poetry: Shattered Glass

Shattered Glass

Days flow and nights pass
My life broken like shattered glass
Meaningless time marching forth
I spend the hours judging my worth
Stumbling through society's normality
I no longer fit into their reality

Invisible soul, a shade of the eye
No answers to know, no reason for why
Dismissed by all without thought or reason
Loneliness growing from season to season
No longer desired, a simple formality
I no longer fit into their reality

Examining their notions, learning their mind
Time flows away with angst for their kind
Why drown my soul with continual nonsense
Continuing life's dance under this pretense
I'm finished for good with their broken mentality
They no longer fit into my reality
